A Hidden Seafood Gem in Milan

Stumbled upon L’Officina del Pesce while walking around after dinner nearby and decided to make a reservation online for the next night. We arrived at 7pm when they opened and had the place almost to ourselves until around 8:30pm, when locals slowly started filling the restaurant — always a great sign. Next time, we’ll definitely come a little later to enjoy the full atmosphere. The service was warm and welcoming, and our waitress was so kind throughout the evening. The food was amazing — fresh seafood, beautiful presentation, and every dish was full of flavor, especially the octopus and lobster pasta. One of our favorite touches was the wooden box of dark chocolate pieces they brought out after dinner for guests to enjoy. What made the experience even more special was hearing Italians chatting around us while we enjoyed dinner and wine. It felt like a true local Milan spot, not touristy at all. We will definitely be back next time we’re in Milan.
